Panettone – A Milanese Christmas Classic

Tall, soft and golden, Panettone is the heart of an Italian Christmas celebration. Originating in Milan, this airy sweet bread is studded with candied fruit and raisins, its delicate texture perfect with a coffee in the morning or a glass of bubbly after dinner.

This year, we’ve gone one step further with two limited-edition flavoured Panettone varieties:

Gianduia – rich chocolate and hazelnut cream folded through the buttery dough for a decadent twist.

Pistacchio Cream – silky smooth pistacchio filling paired with the classic Panettone crumb, a festive favourite in Italy.

All of our Panettone are baked locally in Melbourne, following time-honoured Italian techniques to ensure every slice tastes like home. With limited availability, these flavoured Panettone are perfect for gifting – or keeping for yourself.

Pandoro – Verona’s Star of Christmas

With its beautiful star shape and dusting of icing sugar that resembles a snowy peak, Pandoro is Verona’s answer to Christmas indulgence. Lighter and simpler than Panettone, Pandoro is all about buttery richness and soft, cloud-like crumb. Also made locally here in Melbourne, our Pandoro captures that festive elegance, making it the perfect centrepiece for your table or a thoughtful gift to share with loved ones.

Pastiera – Handmade by Giorgio in Carlton

While Panettone and Pandoro are classics of Northern Italy, Christmas wouldn’t be complete without a taste of the South. Our Pastiera Napoletana is lovingly handmade by Giorgio Angele in our Carlton kitchen. This traditional Neapolitan tart, filled with ricotta, orange blossom water and candied fruit, is a true labour of love. Its delicate fragrance and rich yet balanced flavour make it a festive treat steeped in family tradition – and a unique addition to your Christmas table here in Melbourne.
